Saturday, April 6 (8-10PM) Aurora Picture Show and Buffalo Bayou Partnership present this annual evening of video art along a half-mile stretch of Buffalo Bayou East. REMEMBERING WILLIE VARELA
We are sad to hear of the recent passing of El Paso-based film and video artist Willie Varela at the age of 74. Last March, Aurora presented Varela in person and screened a selection of his films and videos made between the 1970s and ‘90s.
