- Description it began with the original armadillo palace, our restaurant, saloon and live-music venue filled with authentic Texas and Western memorabilia. Expansion in 2016 brought a new dance hall, stage, bar, backyard and kitchen. We added our Walk of Fame, a tribute to the Texas legends whose music shaped the sounds of our history. From Willie to ZZ Top, we’ve curated an outstanding collection of memorabilia featuring Texas artists. And we’ve got multiple stages to host everything from local to national acts. Now, we offer a variety of flexible space, indoors and out. Modern audio-visual and lighting is available throughout the venue. And wherever you go, you’ll be met with genuine Southern hospitality. WELCOME TO GOODE’S ARMADILLO PALACE EVENT EXTRAS With a wide-open space that covers half a block in the heart of Houston, Goode’s Armadillo Palace offers a one-of-a-kind event space. From corporate breakfasts to crawfish boils, private luncheons to live concerts, the parties we throw are as diverse as our menu. we like to keep things interesting. Armadillo races? Photos with a longhorn? Take your chances on a mechanical bull? How about some trick roping and line dancing?
