Dress for Success Houston
If someone visits from out of town, they can't miss a visit to NASA, all the sculptures downtown, our incredible museums. If they have children, they shouldn't miss a trip to Hermann Park to feed the ducks, go to the zoo and top off the visit with a ride on the train!
What surprises me about Houston? How there is always room for something new…whether it is a restaurant, museum, magazine or a charity.
Hands down, it is the people that make Houston special. Houston is a city of generosity, openness, acceptance and warmth.
During the week, people are most likely to find me at a Dress for Success Houston meeting with a prospective donor. Then, they might find me helping a client find a perfect suit for a job interview. That evening, I would be at the Professional Women’s Group meeting celebrating, with a room full of our clients, as they share their success stories.
I recharge on the weekend with a walk in Memorial Park, and then a trip to Central Market. At home, my husband and I will prepare an alfresco lunch and enjoy being with family and friends.
My favorite places to eat: The bar at Cafe Annie, Armandos, Nit Noi for take-out and Otto's for barbecue.
My favorite place to shop is wherever there is a great sale!
