In addition to being an important business center and a great place to raise a family, Houston has a thriving art scene and theater district, great shopping, superb school systems and educational opportunities and many top restaurants. We fly all over the world, but we only come home to one city, and that’s Houston, Texas.
For sports lovers, I’d recommend a swing by Minute Maid Park to catch the Astros in action, or head to Reliant Stadium to see the Texans play. Hermann Park is a great place to take kids, with a trip to the Houston Zoo. Space Center Houston is another great place to visit. And, of course, I’m partial to Continental’s state-of-the-art Terminal E at George Bush Intercontinental.
What makes Houston special is the people who live here. Warm, friendly, and incredibly giving, the Houston community is the real heart of this city.
My favorite places to eat are Pappasito's and Buffalo Grille. I shop at The Galleria.
While many people recognize Houston as a family-friendly city and a great location for business, it is also a thriving hub for the arts, with the world-class Houston Ballet, Houston Grand Opera and Houston Symphony, as well as the Theatre Under the Stars.
